• Zoledronic Acid is indicated for treatment of Osteoporosis and for Paget?s disease of the bone. A patient is infused in GP clinics and takes about 15-20 minutes and they are protected for a year instead of taking weekly tablets. The kit contains a basic giving set, BD Insyte 22g IV Cannula, BD IV Start Pak (includes BD Persist Plus site preparation swab, IV Dressing, drape, roll of tape), Venting needle and a Vernacare preparation tray.
