Description

Vliwasorb Pro is a superabsorber for wounds with moderate to very high levels of exudate.
With its high absorption and retention capacity Vliwasorb Pro protects wound edges against
maceration. It also maintains a moist wound environment that promotes wound healing. The
proactive cleansing effect has an anti-inflammatory action and reduces the microbial burden.
Vliwasorb Pro’s ergonomic and flexible design make it easy and safe to use. Its blue clothing
protection protects clothing and bed linen from contamination.

Fields of application

Wounds with moderate to very high levels of exudate, acute and chronic superficial wounds, e.g.:

• pressure ulcers, arterial ulcers, venous lower leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers
• postoperative wounds with secondary healing
• post-traumatic wounds
• skin graft donor sites
• oncological wounds
• ulcerating tumours
• wounds at risk of infection
• superficial second degree burns
• and as a secondary dressing, e.g. on laparotomy wounds and fistulas.
