Next-generation calcium alginate wound dressings with silver
In addition to the calcium alginate and silver alginate fibres, Suprasorb A+Ag Pro now also contains cellulose fibres, which provide support and have a stabilising effect, improving product’s performance.
Cellulose fibres facilitate efficient exudate management, which promotes wound healing and autolytic debridement1)2) . They also help make it possible for the wound dressing to be removed in one piece3) , which makes the dressing easy to use and enhances treatment safety.
Suprasorb A + Ag Pro reduces the microbial burden* and is therefore especially suitable for wounds that are infected or at risk of infection - including with MRSA or VRE*.
